My law partner Robert McGuirk, Chris Thomas, of Moore Stephens Tiller, and Kevin Morelli, of Cabretta Capital, and I participated in a well attended (100 +) and well received opportunity zone program on May 6, at the College of Coastal Georgia, sponsored by the City of Brunswick, the Brunswick and Glynn County Development Authority, and the Brunswick and Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce. Travis Stegall, Economic and Community Development Director at the City of Brunswick, unveiled a new website promoting Brunswick's opportunity zones. There is significant interest in the program in the Brunswick and Glynn County area and the program seems poised to make a difference here.
